On behalf of the SnowRats and especially Lake Taghkanic Chairman "Slo-Mo" I would like to thank everyone for their help in the construction of the trail system at Lake Taghkanic. Unfortunately, our first form of winter precipitation was ice and it destroyed the park. The park was closed for the entire winter due to downed trees and power lines. This spring and fall we will need as much help as possible to open up our trails for next season.
The work day schedule for spring 2009 is as follows:
Sun, April 19
Sat, May 2 (Sun, May 3 rain date)
Sun, May 17
Sat, June 6 (Sun, June 7 rain date)
Sat, June 20

I'm willing to help, as long as my work schedule permits. I'm not far away either. I know its late, but you never know.

The fall workdays are over, but we will be planning some for the spring. The dates will be posted on www.snowrats.com . Are you a member of the club?
